Mission:

Teaching and research go hand in hand in our department. Our courses aim to provide students with a solid foundation of Chemistry as well as an insight into the most contemporary questions being asked in the subject. Undergraduate and M.Sc. research projects are a learning experience and opportunity to foray into newer areas beyond our comfort zone. Ph. D. students and postdoctoral fellows, under the guidance of our renowned members of faculty, perform cutting edge research in diverse and challenging fields, fundamental as well as applied. We aspire to raise the bar always. Our vibrant and  active department is constantly engaged in creation and propagation of knowledge.
