Forty-two speakers including 23 foreign speakers delivered talks on various aspects of protein sciences. In addition, 76 posters were presented during the 3-day symposium. The symposium covered five distinct themes: de novo protein design, protein structure and folding; disease arising from mis-folding and aggregation; membranes and membrane proteins; cytoskeleton organization dynamics and diseased state.
