Educational institutions around the globe face the challenge of maintainingteaching while in the grip of the most seriouspandemicin a century.Some countries started to prepare for this eventuality earlier than others. Singapore, in particular,began to put plans in place following the SARS outbreak. In this talk,I will discusssome of the online teaching and learning that I have been involvedin since I joined NTU in 2005. In particular, I will discuss how I have worked on pedagogical methods to deliver course content.While we race to meet the needs of our students for the next semester, we also have to consider whether there should be a permanent change in some of the ways that we teach, or whether we revert to the old ways once it is safe to do so?
