ANNUM is a unique conference series that was established to bring together
researchers in the Asia–Pacific region to discuss emerging topics in
materials research. Previous meetings were held at IIT Delhi (India,
2011), NTU Singapore (2012), Panjab University (India, 2015), NUS
Singapore (2016), Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia, 2017), Gifu
University (Japan, 2018), Gujarat University (India, 2019), Online
(2020-22) and National Sun Yat-sen University (Taiwan, 2023).

The next edition of the conference will be held at IIT Bombay during 20-22
July 2024. It will provide a platform for the presentation of results and
discussion on emerging topics in the multidisciplinary areas of materials
research which revolves around chemistry and will attract both established
researchers and young students. In addition, the invited speakers will
highlight emerging trends in their own sub-discipline for motivating the
younger generation and offer practical solutions to various problems faced
by society, at large. In other words, this conference will also focus on
translational areas of materials chemistry with potential applications.
Around 200 participants, including eminent guest scientists from India and
abroad, IIT Bombay faculty and students will participate in the
conference.
