Talk Title : "Basics of X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS)."
Abstract
X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy is a powerful technique for probing the
electronic and local atomic structure of materials and finds wide
applications across chemistry, materials science, physics, environmental
science, and related disciplines. The talk will introduce the fundamental
principles of XAS, its experimental aspects, and its applications, making
it particularly valuable for students and researchers who are new to the
technique as well to the researchers with the experience with the
technique.
