On the way to weakening of strong chemical bonds via weak interactions (soft fore) is significant in both making new chemical systems with functions or to understand the complex functions of living systems. It will be discussed how soft force 1 of several low ‐energy and low ‐level interactions, or weak interactions 2 like hydrophobic effect, 3 anion-π, cation-π, 4 charge-transfer, 5 etc. are explored to control certain reactivity of chemical systems (shown in Figure 1).Various aspects of metal free C-N, 6 C-S 7 bond synthesis controlled by weak interactions, will also be discussed.
