Educational Background:

Ph.D. Stanford University (2017)
M. Sc. Indian Institute of Technology Madras (2012)
B.Sc. SSSIHL (2010)

Professional Experience:

Assistant Professor, IIT Bombay (2021-)

Electrochemical Engineering Lead, Neuralink Corporation, USA (2020-21)

Post-doc, University of California Berkeley (2018-2020)

Research Interest:

We are interested in the molecular design of interfacial electrochemical processes in energy conversion systems. For multi-step catalytic bond making/breaking processes,  we would like to design and synthesize transition metal complexes that optimize for overpotential, product selectivity and rates. In energy storage systems such as Li-ion batteries, we are interested in interfacial charge transfer and transport processes across passivation layers.
